thought question?

If you were blind, amputee how would you read braille on the elevator?

Assuming that you thought this person had arms, now assume that they had no limbs; same question.

Feet, then tongue. Yeah, licking elevator buttons is gross, but if I had no hands or feet or anything I'd imagine I'd have to use my tongue for all kinds of stuff. Hopefully I'd have a good immune system.

In reality I'd probably just ask somebody else. But the hypo said how would you read the braille, not how would you get to where you're going. I didn't want to fight the hypothetical.

This really seems like one of those problems where you're going to tell me how stupid I am at the end. Well, batter up...

Stupid...i would never say such a thing. Actually, I would but...

This question was brought up with my brothers before a Kappa Psi meeting and we only thought of tongue. The mental picture was to much to keep me in my chair...i was laughing hysterically. But others were much more thoughtful about this and thought feet, lips and nose. However, how sensitive are these areas? It is hard to feel the texture of socks much less braille with your feet...hmmmm?
