i have wait almost a year to buy a pair of Dansko's because I have lots of shoes and needed to kill the others first. well today was the day and i found my foots sole mate (hehe)! imagine my surprise when i open the box to find TWO DIFFERENT SHOES!!!! Expletives were expressed...
for those of you who don't know this...when i buy something i must wear it right away and this has put a major kink in my plan! argggg!

Hmm...the use of the passive voice in your comment "expletives were expressed" is an interesting statement. Normally you'd say the much more concise "I swore". Using the passive voice is a way to admit guilt without fully acknowledging that guilt and all it entails. It seems like you feel ashamed, or guilty, or remorseful.
