who knew that grown up decisions were so time intensive...and why didn't someone ever teach me how to do these things?
For example...negotiating a job, I don't know the first thing about this and I assume that what they tell me and what everyone else is doing is what i will be doing. Evidently, I have to get everything in writing including bathroom breaks!
...buying a car, what a joke! Why is this process so difficult? Why can't I negotiate the price of shoes the same way? Actually, I think the best comparison would be a game, like hearts where you a unsure what the other person is holding until you get screwed in the end. I have never been scared to buy anything, including a car, but now I am.

Yes!! Get EVERYTHING in writing! Even with that, you can still get taken advantage of. It's tough to be stuck in a job where how it initially appears is much different from what you'll actually be doing.
